Summer News

Hi Beautiful Survivors and Caregivers!!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful summer! It is going so fast! Wow! I have been so busy!! Four of our grandchildren have been playing baseball and softball this year, so you can imagine what that's been like.

I am a Voice of Hope for The American Cancer Society. I started off by speaking in Rochester, New York, at the Opening Ceremony for the Relay for Life of Irondequoit. What a fun day it was! It ended on a positive note with a book signing. Our entire family went with me; even the grandkids. We're getting them started young in this fight! We made a little stop at Niagara Falls on the way home. After we returned home, I spoke at the Opening Ceremony at the Relay for Life of Westerville, and then on to speak at the Survivor Dinner for the Relay for Life of Pickerington. What a fun, but busy day! My granddaughter, Savannah always goes with me to all of my events and she is a wonderful help. She takes pictures and helps me with videos. She always manages to sneak in some extra fun and takes some behind the scenes pictures and videos. We just got back from Mackinac Island, Michigan where I spoke at the Relay for Life of St. Ignace and I had a book signing at Book World in St. Ignace. Last week I had a radio interview on Faith Filled Fridays. I am busy and loving every minute of it! I love meeting so many new friends and giving lots of hugs. Only God can take an ugly cancer diagnosis and turn it around for the good!

We also found out some exciting news this summer. Our daughter, Sarah, is expecting another baby due in February. Life is full and so beautiful! Thanks so much to all of you who have contacted me and purchased my book. Thanks, also, for visiting my website. I pray for all of you every day. I pray that you will all be blessed with good health and all the joys that this life has to offer. Enjoy the rest of your summer, and don't forget to tell your loved ones every day how much you love them, for tomorrow is promised to no one. Make every day a celebration! If you need prayer, or you would like for me to speak at any of your events, please email me at

I love you guys!!
